Join a global leading company in Airport Operations Planning Software and Services. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Copenhagen and grow our partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The role is for a person who thrives in developing strong business relations and feels comfortable working independently and as part of a team. As our BDM, you will represent our company and cutting-edge technology aimed at helping airports use data and technology to become more efficient while improving the passenger experience.
Your mission
We are looking for a candidate who exhibits the skills to break in and land and expand airport accounts in EMEA & Asia. By joining the commercial team, you will contribute to solving our key objectives of expanding Copenhagen's footprint in the market and building high-performing strategic relationships with airport partners. Our software, Better Airport, enables airports globally to make decisions with confidence and clarity and transform the passenger experience.

Responsibilities
- Proactively and analytically build and manage a strategic sales approach for prioritized accounts
- Drive acquisition of new business
- Identify and develop strategies for new prospect acquisition by analyzing and understanding the client organizations
- Contacting potential clients/accounts to establish dialogue and conduct either online or on-site meetings
- Together with the sales org. identify customer needs and mature sales proposals
- Utilize our CRM system (HubSpot) to structure and log all sales-related activities
- Work directly together with Client Success teams to identify opportunities with existing clients
- Run initial early sales meetings to explore and understand customer needs to outline the potential for further discussions
- Coordinate and prepare proposals
- Represent Copenhagen Optimization at various industry events across the regions
- Monitor market- and customer trends to drive Copenhagen Optimization's product, brand, and market share
- Work with your colleagues in Marketing to identify new opportunities for marketing and sales collateral
- Support by providing input, knowledge, and content to new marketing initiatives for the regions
Your Profile
- Bachelors or Masters of Science in Business Administration, economics or similar
- Preferably 3 to 5 years experience in sales, SaaS company, business development, or another relevant field
- Excellent English language skills as a minimum
- You are comfortable communicating both verbally and in writing
- Experience and interest in the aviation industry is a strong advantage
- You are driven by a desire to make a difference for our clients.
- The ability and willingness to travel frequently

Your role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
You will be responsible for prospect-client-related tasks from the beginning, working in a truly international environment with a strong focus on the aviation industry.
